Earthquake Update by Jorge Parrott
CMM/MorningStar Missionary Veronica Freites is helping with relief efforts in Haiti. Three years ago Veronica started another of her many congregations for hungry Haitians living near her home in Palmera de Ocoa. They are hard working and love fellowship and learning more about their Lord God. Veronica is friends with some high level government officials who help her in ministry and making contacts with government and media officials for visiting teams.
This week, Veronica and her friends are continuing to help Haiti earthquake victims by going into Haiti to offer assistance. Veronica has a nursing background and there are still many injured to treat.
There is much growth in her Haitian church in DR also and land has become available next door for only $2,000. USD Teams will be needed to help with construction and ministering to the hungry and hurting Haitian population growing in DR.

Update from Bob and Jayne Griffin on December Outreach in Bani,DR with 640 Salvations
From Bob and Jayne Griffin who headed up a crusade in Bani, DR under the direction of Veronica Freites:
We spent 3 nights at the Miguil Tejada baseball stadium in Bani, Dominican Republic, as well as, another baseball field in which scores of people received many miracles including a woman with a crippled hand which straightened out and began to bend again. We ministered at several churches throughout the trip, and saw many salvations and healings!! There were about 640 salvations and many many more that did not get reported none of which could ever be possible without Pastor Veronica Fretties. Thank You!! The lives that were touched were incredible and we are diligently working to get those videos up on the web site as soon as we can for you to see the miracles!!!! Salvation is the greatest MIRACLE of all!!!

BOOK OF ACTS BEFORE YOUR EYES-VERONICA
Dear friends and partners,
We are so grateful to our heavenly father for the outpouring of His Holy Spirit through out the Nation of the Dominican Republic. are eyes see the glory of our King Jesus manifest in the lives of those whom are sick, lonely, depressed, oppressed and yes even in the verge of suicide.
We broke bread with the messianic Jews, spoke in Pentecostal meetings, gathered all the pastor from a region to come before the Lord to ask for forgiveness for the sins of the fathers.
Entered many homes to pray for the sick, we spent time praying for government leaders, and speaking in many churches and small groups.
Mount of Olives has found favor in the eyes of the Lord, we need your prayers and support as we go forth to win the lost at all cost. On December 16 we are to pray in a field where the villagers have asked us to come because they cannot sleep at night because of the sounds and noise from demonic forces, they claim that this land needs to be dedicated to the Lord in order that they may have peace at night and are able to sleep. we truly need all of the prayers of our brothers and sisters in the Lord as we trust God to bless this desolate place and bring forth peace and the presence of our Lord into this region.

New Church plant for Haitians in the Dominica Republic
Thanks for praying for this valuable, fruitful work.
God is truly blessing us in the children ministry so much love its being poured out by our Lord through the leadership. We are meeting as we speak to make schedules, and leave everyone their responsibility as I go to the States to minister!!

If God be with us, who can stand against us? New Haitian Church in Dominican Republic
GOD IS SO REALWE CAN TOUCH AND FEEL HIM!!
Today I emailed everyone to pray for our new church plant in the Haitian Village, I was going to speak to the owner of a small home which was for rent....
We recently visited this small village with a group from North Carolina and we presented the gospel to the children, {many of them} and maybe 40 accepted Christ as their savior. we felt the need for a youth ministry there because we saw the hunger.
So today I went and rented the small house which will pay 40.00 dollars a month...with no down payment, no deposits,
It was totally destroyed inside , so I went and bought paint, brushes, and involved the community with manpower, everyone even the children brought plants to plant in the front porch, ..today was building day so there was no service, service starts tomorrow, but the chairs were fixed in place and the crowds started coming in!!.......so we had our first service tonight. PRAISE GOD!
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD HIS KINGDOM MUST ADVANCE, IN THE MIDST OF TROUBLE AND ADVERSITY, AND LACK, GOD'S KINGDOM MUST ADVANCE!!

Stay at the DR Resort House! And Our Youth's Baseball Needs
Hope all is well with everyone,
Sorry that I have not being keeping in touch as much as I would like to. Summer is almost here and I know many of you are traveling, please see if the Mission field and the Dominican Republic could become your vacation spot. We are experiencing revival in our churches, we are seeing the glory of God manifested in the youth especially. They are coming out of the woodwork into the churches. It is one of the greatest moves of GOD that I have ever witnessed. Some of the youth play baseball and are in dire need of baseball equipment. Pastor David from North Carolina sent lots of equipment last year, which we gave out, but we need a lot more. So if you can get your hands on any sort of baseball equipment, e.g. bats, balls, hats, pants, and T-shirts, we need it. Remember Dominicans make good baseball players, maybe one of this children can be the next David Ortiz!!
One of the kids we gave the hats and balls to asked me: Pastor Veronica, why do people in the States help us get all this equipment if they don't know us? I said because they love you and they want you to know Jesus and be the best you can be. Then he went on to tell me his shoe size!!
